I could have died 2 days ago..

the title said it all...yes, I could have died, but guess it's not time for me to go yet.

What happened was 2 days ago, i was all by myself in the mansion in Northwich. Finished cooking by 7pm and washed all my pots and pans, and put them away on the stove to let them dry. Then I went up to my room and slept through the night...

2nd morning, when I went down for a shower. Felt my kitchen was quite hot, not common I must say...and my instinct brought myself closer to the stove. My mind went blank for a few seconds, just couldn't believe what my eyes saw..one of the stoves was switched on! Bear in mind, it's not electric stove there, it's GAS! With FIRE, HEAT and FLAME! My goodness! I didnt switch off the FIRE completely after cooking, and left it there for the WHOLE night!! I could have just burnt the 103 years old HOUSE easily! Not only that, the hospital behind my house is completely closed at night since there is no inptient wards running, means nobody will be there even when the house IS ON FIRE! I could hv just died without anybody realising it! *yess, deep breath in and out now, I'm ALIVE nowww' testifying how scary that was...

It's by God's protection and grace, not the time for me to meet Him yet I assume. Funny thing was, out of 4 stoves there, on top of other 3 stoves were the pots I washed earlier on, and the only stove which i didnt switch off the fire completely was the lucky one, as I didnt put any pot on it. And that should be thankful for, if not, the pots will just melt and trigger the fire easier!!
Thinking back, my body should be ashes by now. But no, my flesh is as vivid and there I am here...recalling the scariest experience I had in the old whitehouse, that I almost have got it on fire! And being the OLD building, I'm sure if it was on fire, it will spread within split of seconds and by the time I noticed it, I could have trapped in the house and BURNT ALIVE! *Gosh, I'm having goose pimples now even just imagining myself slowly being engulfed by the fiercest HEAT!*

Now, thank God I didnt hv to go through that...phewwww... my only housemate, Beth! and us infront of our Whitehouse, a.k.a. The Lodge! Really glad to have to know her better n she is such a cheerful gurl:) At least there was somebody that I can talk to after a long day work in the surgery.

Definitely, it will be one of the memorable time in Northwich, with extrordinary encounter as such. I just have to assume, God is not finished with me in this earth yet. More purposes in my life to achieve before seeing Him face to face in Heaven.

I could have died 2 days ago, but God preserved my life and let me LIVE ON.
So..Hang in there Angie! There are more to come in your precious life.

wasSup Doc: God orders our stops as well as our steps. Praise be with Him, for He is watching over me all the time.
