It has been a while now...sorry my dearest blog, mummy has abandoned you for a while now..

Jess was here with me in Manchester for a while. Explored many places together and spent quality time together of course. It was like a dream come true. Still could remember vividly when she went to Australia for her first year medical school and since then my first choice has always been Aussie Med school am going to go after IMU phase 1. But God has bigger plans, I am sure when HE put me in Manchester instead, and thus the IMPOSSIBLE meet up because of the different holidays period.

1 year, 2 years and there came the 3rd year, we didnt see each other. There was once in MSN when she askedd hmmm, 'i wonder when we will meet?' Then I reassured her that God will open doors one day *but deep im my thought, I was also thinking, seriously when we can actually meet* But God is faithful, He DID open doors and made a way. My initial plan to go Melbourne for my elective didnt work out in the end because the uni wanted me to fit into the local students' timetable which I cant and thus ended up going Adelaide instead to meet up Pei and Geoff! No doubt, it was a great time well spent with them two as well! PLUS, I actually prefer Adelaide than the buzzling Melbourne!

But guess wat, God allowed her to come Manchester and did her elective on the other hand! And what's better was that we got to travel to a few places as well. Looking back, oh boy, they were all well planned by God. With the strings of bank holidays, Royal wedding and all, timing was just right. Indeed: He has made everything beautiful in His time:)

So we explored Manchesterthen YORKilicious

and invaded LoNdOnand finally..AMSTERDAM *Oranjie Festival*

AND, really enjoyed each other accompany. Even just cooking for each other every night was joy.
Gonna miss you dearly, but yes we bid goodbye with a smile because we know, God will make a way again to let us meet again!

Another phase of life

I have got back to Manchester since 2 weeks ago and the feeling of getting back into track for work has not yet settled.

My heart still weigh thousand stones, missing the good time I had back home, esp with my family members! They're the people I cherished most now..Am still very home sick, unfortunately..I miss having my papa and mama around, calling me daily making sure I'm surviving well. And my dad, would drive to KL from Seremban after his work in the evening, just to make sure that his little gurl has dinner at night and transport to work early morning and then he would drive back to Seremban again for his work..and the whole cycle repeated for whole 2 weeks. Pity my mum has to work in Kelantan and I didnt get to spend much quality time with her:( That's why i miss her more, her touch, her words and her love....

I also miss these cute 'lawyers' at home~ They both tried to accomodate me so much and brought me eat all the food i wanted. I just miss hanging out with them!

and if you asked me what food i miss most, it's none other than budu! The Kelantanese fermented fish sauce:P My dad knew i love it, and thus he purposely cook that just for me:) I'm so loved ey..
but thank God that Jessica was already in Manchester when I arrived. She even spring clean my room! I'm truly amazed by her 'POWER' to tidy up the messy room of mine! And tadaaaa...as follow:: THANKS a MILLION, Jess!!! and this gurl can cook! She has been preparing dinners for me if i come home late from work.....I'm seriously spoiled at the moment!

not only that, my ALL TIME EFFICIENT PA, Lily Chan even gave me a 'To do things' before she left! I'm just SOoOo blessed to have marvelous friends around me! :)))

And just to note down my birthday celebrations! Had to leave home a day before my big day and it was very saddening. It's been a while I didn't celebrate with my family members! But oh well, friends in Manchester had been very thoughtful too..
on my birthday itself, KeeFong, Steph, Shah and Jess organised a dinner at Red Chilli:)and SF-ers surprised me with dinner at Frankie and Bennys on the subsequent days...Wasn't expecting such a big crowd...hehe. Oh wells, many thanks, guys! God is good!

And not to forget all those who sent their wishes and love. Really appreciate those kind thoughts:)



Work resumes in MRI, currently attached to Mr Ravi, a general surgeon. As usual, talk like surgeon, act like surgeon..but friendlier a whee bit since we're sekampung, ya, he is a Malaysian:) Just that, at times having some long days in ward and theatre..need to get my momentum going indeed! :)

Hello from the down below..Aussieland!!

Weather here is awesome! Sunny 24/7, except for a few days of miserable downpour and that's it....overall, it's still a lovely place to live in!

My current location is Adelaide, the Festival State:) According to my supervisor, i came just at the right time, so many events going on...wheeee, God's perfect timing indeed!

Arrived Adelaide on Sunday night and my supervisor picked me up from the airport bout 1030pm. Unbelivable right, yes, my supervisor, the consultant picked me up from the airport! And I stayed over her house for a night. She is a lovely woman and very kind to do that. I must say, everything is really by God's perfect planning....

Dr Ayesha and myself at her house which is located half way of Adelaide Hills.We had our breakfast overseeing the scenic view of Adelaide city...this is life man!

Am doing great here! Elective started 2 weeks ago and am enjoying my life :P

Geriatricians here are very nice bunch of people, friendly and whole attachment is kinda chilling. My consultant kept insisting me to take days off to visit around Australia since it's my first time here.

I'm staying in the hospital accomodation, though it's kinda run down with 100+years of history, it's still bearable, PLUS, God has blessed me with some friends from China! Again, God answered prayers;) What happened was on the first day I arrived, I was kinda lonely in my room, no internet and i know nobody at my floor.So, I prayed that God can brings some friends just to accompany me that night, be it at work or in the place i stay. GOD IS FAST in His work! Just the second day, as I was preparing my dinner in the kitchen, I overheard a Chinese gurl inviting another gurl for a bible study group. Straight away, I asked them if I can join and viola..got to know more God's children through the bible study group and had a fellowship in the kitchen after the meeting :) Meeting God's people from all over the world is AWESOME! We're all one family ey..and now, at least I know some of the gurls staying at the same level with me and daily greetings from them just make me feel so good! Some of them even brought me to visit the beach one day;) Goodie good...

Zhou Tian and Lisa brought me to Glenelg beach on Chap Goh Meh :) They both are qualified nurses from China and have got 10+ years of experience working dy. They are now just waiting to sit for English language exams to practice as nurses in Adelaide...

of course the BEST part of all is that...

I GET TO HANG AROUND WITH MY PARTNERS in CRIME!!!

finally, after 2 and half years of not meeting! SUPER love to bermain with them :P
Having breakfast at ETC, the must eat place according to them, my tour guides;)

enjoyed our outings!the must do in Aussie;) Feed the OVERfriendly wallabies;)
and not to forget, the very nice peeps in Adelaide!!! Very happening bunch of people..

Rabbit is my year...

Happy bunny is me because...i'm back home for CNY! Whee..after almost 3 years away from home, I'm now back for a celebration with my family! Indeed good fun to celebrate this day with my lovely family members. Time really flies, and all of us have grown up so much. I could remember vividly when we were young, running up and down in the house and hoping more visitors to come so that we get more angpaos. And once the visitors leave, we would all rush into the room and check how much money we get! Lol..those were the days, think I now understand more the meaning of FAMILY reunion:) Not much bout the angpaos..To be honest, I dun even bother whether how much money I get...concentrating more on the food/ cookies..lol. Weighing machine shall be my enemy this month!

Visited my dearest aunt and uncles in Melacca:)Grandma and 2 lovely daughters:)The gurls cousie..Am already an aunt..see the little gurl..hehe, she is my little niece:)

Happy New Year my dearest bloggie..sorry that I have abandoned you lately..but dun worry, I always rmb that I have you, as my small little hiding place:)

The title speaks it all, many will have known that my exemption finals is in 2 weeks time. 3 days, 2 written papers, 1 day of 16stations OSCE and ONE results to decide where I go next. No the end of the world yet if I didnt make it because this means I just have to sit for the real actual final which is in May..but if I do pass...then I can skip that exams lor! Argh......think POSITIVE, Angie! I love medicine, i really do...but not the adrenaline rush when sitting for exams...i cant handle that well..

there is only one thing running in my mind now..that is..
I wan to go home badly:'(
I'm very uberly stress..even my sleep has been affected!
Waking up like 4.30am is not helping..
Palpitations and fear of failure keep haunting me.
God...........hear my cry:(
on the lighter note, Huey Shann and bf came to visit Manchester few days ago:)
Glad to have you around dearie..it's been ages but good to have a short catch up with you, esp in Manchester!!! Would love to pay you a visit one day!

At the meantime, our small little hut has turned into a tuition centre with NOTES all over our place..Revision time during breakfast :) No time is wasted...PRECIOUS second!Allright, it's TONGZHI today, and though we're miles away from home, Aunt Winnie made us TongYuan to celebrate this 'family reunion' day :)

Aunt Winnie has been in Manchester for 5 weeks and she is leaving home tomorrow:(
Gonna miss her bubbly presence in my apartment and also her yummilicious home cooked meals. Till we meet again aunt...Have a safe flight home k:)

it's the last day of my posting in Rochdale. 3 more weeks+ to go till our exemption finals. This year's Christmas is going to be a draggy one, with intensive revision plans coming up and endless OSCE practice sessions...keeping my fingers crossed to pass this exams...it's going to be a stressful time. On top of that, the heavy snow in Manchester is not doing any good...Blizzard at the moment, freezing all the time. Sigh, it's not the right time for exams prep laaaaaa.....Wished i have a portable heater to keep me warm ALL the time! *Dream on Angie*

Anyway, the following are some pics during my stay in the Rochdale accom. Quite nice actually the place there. It's IN the hospital itself, thus every morning I wake up, i just need to run downstairs without going through the cold. And the heater in my room is always in FULL BLAST, which keeps the room nice and warm ALL the time....small but cozy:)

and when weekends come..hola! Aunt Winnie will prepare a table FULL of home cooked food to feed this piglet (ME)! Seriously lor....December is a FATlalala month!
and latest obsession is to collect nametag of various hospitals! This is from Rochdale and love it MAX coz it says...ELDERLY MEDICINE :))))) *i'm a person of high risk, watch out! *

Dr Namushi is a very down to earth consultant who is very passionate about education. He is one of the very active committee members in the local high school. He was just sharing with us the other day about his dilemma in choosing a headmistress for the school because he believes a good headmistress is very important to oversee the teenagers' pregression! He loves writing poems too abd boy his poem entitled 'Stetoscope' was adopted to be used in one of the medical equipment's company. Not to forget Dr Saravanen, his 10years+ colleague is very eager to teach too! I could rmb vividly when both of them were 'fighting' to teach us and share their knowledge with us! There was once when they saw a very interesting case with posterior communicating artery aneurysm patient's brain scan and we had to stay half an hour more extra to listen to their 'teaching'!!! Lol....oh well, it was great fun learning from them! Seeing them rushing in to get us when there are patients with signs made me feel so enthusiastic in wanting to learn more!
They enjoyed having students around and we love having such passionate supervisors:)
win win situation it is ey:))

Sadly, it's our last day today and we have to bid each other goodbye. Wished each other best of luck, till we meet again in this competative medical arena:)
Some good thing happened today:)
Normally, I would share a cab with Ayda to take the train home because by sharing we save some money and get home faster. But unfortunately, she has a lift back from her friend today. So left myself to go back Manchester. Since the taxi fare is about 3.50pound, add on the train fare of 2.20 pound, it will cost me freaking 5.70 pound to go home one way.Deep in my i kno it's not worth it at all.. So I decided to take a slow walk of 35 minutes to the train station since my daddy said I have put on some weight. Save some money, burn some calories...but had to embrace in the -4 degree cold..hmmmm.Just bear with it lo....BUT BUT i think God took pity on me..as i walked out the hospital, i came across a folded paper on the floor and guess wat I found when I picked it up?! It's a DAYPASS for the coach to go back Manchester which cost 4.10 pound each! How bless I am right! How coincident could this be..God knows.. Yay, the journey to the bus station is half the journey to train station and i need not embrace the cold so long and also save some money on the fare home! Not only that, once i arrived the bus station, the fastest bus to go back Manchester was just 5 minutes till it arrives!! WAhhHhhhhh....perfect timing :)) I am just amazed how God works..that's why, God makes everything beautiful in HIS time...!

So once you're blessed, what should you do...GO bless others right:)
As i came down the bus, I then pass my daily pass to this random gurl who needed one.
And she kept saying 'thank you thank you' when I gave her the buspass because apparently she couldn't find her buspass and the bus is about to leave soon...
Pass the blessings folks, it's Christmas soon!
Sometimes we just forget how blessed we are till realised that little small thing God has put in our lives.
